The economic crisis in Argentina

Inflation is so bad in Argentina because the country is not very economically productive compared to how out of control its spending is. The only way to continue funding the government and its welfare expenditures is to print more money, which only increases the rate of inflation. The more the currency devalues, the worse the country’s debt becomes.
The IMF is a lender of last resort and only steps in to save countries on the brink of economic devastation. They loaned Argentina more than 50 billion dollars in 2018
The majority of voters in Argentina are financially illiterate. They desire further government welfare, rather than fiscal discipline. Welfare in itself is not necessarily bad, but when a country can not afford it, it is catastrophic.
Argentina has been known to pass more taxes that retroactively affect businesses. A business may be asked to pay taxes for money they already paid taxes on. Nordic countries have more respect for the business sector rather than treating it like a pig that needs to be butchered.
