Otis Traction Elevators @ Grand Central Terminal - New York City

Recorded on 5/11/23. Since I had an hour connection between my Metro North and Long Island Railroad trains, I utilized the hour to revisit some of the elevators and Grand Central as well as to ride the new elevators at Grand Central. This is one of the original sets of elevators. These elevators have been modernized a couple of times but the cabs remain original. It would defeat the purpose of historic elevators if the cabs were to be replaced.
