Fairfield County Commissioners | Full Meeting | May 16, 2023

The full meeting of the Fairfield County Commissioners' weekly meeting for May 16, 2023. This week's meeting featured the introduction of County interns through MORPC and Workforce Development Center by Abby Watson, a Listen & Learn with Jason Crabill, Executive Director of the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio, an update with ADAMH and Lutheran Social Services' ARP Housing with Marcy Fields and Kerry Dreyer and Airport Bond discussion.

The public comments portion had Craig Uhl of the Operating Engineers Local 18 speak in favor of the Cottontail solar project and Colleen Whitig spoke opposing the project.

Ray Stemen, spoke of the southern border crisis and how it impacts even those in Fairfield County and offered a public prayer for the Commissioners and county employees.

Judy Stemen spoke of more revelations around the COVID response as well as how it relates to the immigration crisis.
