I received a review code for Sakura Dungeon from Winged Cloud, and I'd feel bad if I didn't at least do a first impressions let's play video for it. Yeah, that's why I'm playing it...ANYWAY! Every scene is filled with glorious clickbait, so that's why the thumbnail is as it is. All in all, Sakura Dungeon is a beautifully drawn, brightly colored game with simple and fulfilling dungeon delving combat and decently composed music. There's new items to unlock, new, uh, "Monsters" to capture, barrels to bust open for sweet sweet loot, it's really like any other dungeon RPG style game, just with a ton more tatas. Yes, all of the fashion designers within the world of Sakura Dungeon base every conceivable wardrobe around bikinis. There's quite a bit of dialog in the beginning, so I'll be putting annotations so you can skip to the -- er -- action as it were. My playthrough WILL be PG-13 for the most part, I haven't put any nudity mods or anything on it, so at worst skimpy clothing will simply be slightly more skimpy when it gets blown apart by critical hits.

It's up to you folks though to let me know whether to KEEP IT or CUT IT. If we keep it, it'll stay as a series on the channel, if we cut it, that's it for the glorious Sakura Dungeon. I'll say, from getting to play it a little bit, there's actually enough substance behind the big boobed gals running around in underwear beating the tar out of each other that makes the game genuinely fun and funny. In this story players will assume the role of an ancient fox spirit who awakens after several hundred years of deep sleep to find that possession of her lovingly made dungeon has been taken from her! As if that wasn’t enough cause for alarm, she has also been robbed of her power, leaving her weak and vulnerable. She soon discovers that it was a heroic knight who woke her from her slumber, and after a brief fight and “negotiation,” the knight decides to join her on an adventure to reclaim the dungeon! Together, they will unearth great treasures, reveal secrets and hidden rooms, and recruit monster girls to fight by their side...all while avoiding traps, fighting off dangerous enemies and bosses across multiple floors, and uncovering the devious plans of the new dungeon lord. One of the most important mechanics of Sakura Dungeon is the ‘capture’ mechanic, wherein the player will be able to capture monster girls they encounter and add them to their party.

In addition to dungeon exploring, Sakura Dungeon is also packed with extensive dialogue and plenty of gorgeous backdrops and cutscene artwork for the player to unlock as they carefully navigate their way through the dungeon.
