The cave systems are a fairly mysterious topic, as we've only seen a few different gameplay instances of caves, and when we saw them it was usually only for a few seconds. The caves certainly LOOK awesome, and the concept of providing another dimension to explore beyond land, sea, and space is pretty interesting as well. The question is just what do the caves hold within them? We've seen some creatures, sentinels, and resources, but could they also hold cool points of interest or rare tech? There has been instances of points of interest showing up at the bottom of a body of water, so I don't see why it wouldn't be plausible to also occur in a cave system.

And then, just how easy is it to happen across a cave system? Sean Murray mentions when he plays on Balari V that the entire planet is basically covered in those cave systems, but are all planets with cave systems like that? Is it more luck to come upon one considering the planet sized planets that we'll be exploring?

That brings me to this videos question as well, what do YOU think about the caves in No Man's Sky? Will you seek them out and explore them? Will you leave them alone and be content to stay on the surface? Do you have any obscure quotes or information that you've found on cave systems within No Man's Sky? Feel free to share it in the comments section below and as always stay foxy and much love!
