Erik Kleinsmith - Zodiac Killer Gary Poste is Identified By DNA

The Case Breakers (https://thecasebreakers.org/) have confirmed that they've identified Gary Poste's DNA through a variety of sources. One of the sources of Poste's DNA comes from a former Army counterintelligence agent--No, not Pete, but we'll try to get this CI spook on the show.

Despite, the FBI's statement in 2021 of "No new information to report," it's revealed that the FBI has considered Poste a suspect since 2016. Poste passed away in 2018.

By California law, Poste's DNA should have been entered into CODIS the US' national DNA database. However, it remains in doubt if the FBI, or Local PD's have entered their DNA evidence in the database.

With Poste's DNA gathered, the next step is to gain the support of the PD's to close the loop between the DNA evidence in their possession and the Poste DNA gathered by the Case Breakers.
