Today we're taking a very brief look at the Heads up Display (or HUD/User Interface) within No Man's Sky, as well as how it has changed and evolved overtime, being updated to the HUD we see in most recent gameplay. The Heads Up Display of No Man's Sky (specifically the on foot heads up display) has been refined and polished quite a bit, adding more information while at the same time looking clean and professional. While it does take up slightly more screen real estate than the original, I think it's not obstructive enough to be any real problem.

The current heads up display we've seen provides a wealth of information including the planet name, temperature, time, environmental effects, shields, health, wanted level, a compass, as well as multi-tool information and more. That's a lot to shove at the player, but the translucency of the entire display really helps quite a bit! Overall, I think the newer heads up display is a welcome change compared to the previous versions.

That brings me to this videos question though, which HUD do YOU prefer? Out of the various ones No Man's Sky has gone through, but also in general. Do you prefer a HUD that provides more information at the expense of a little screen space? Or do you prefer a very minimalist HUD that leaves very little impact on the screen? Feel free to leave your opinion in the comments section below, much love ya'll!
