Plants vs Zombies 2 - Penny's Pursuit - Zomboss - Seedium Plant Showcase - Zoybean Pod - May 2023

This Penny's quest focuses on the Seedium plant Zoybean Pod and was offered between between May 17, 2023 and May 24, 2023.

Zoybean Pod is a member of the Enchant-Mint family.
Zoybean Pod costs 200 Sun. (-25 Sun at levels 3, 5 and 10.)
Every 18 seconds, Zoybean Pod will grow a “Zomboid” - a tofu zombie which attacks the enemy hoard. (-1 sec on levels 3, 4, 7, 8 and 10)
This zomboid will be equivalent to a level 1 zombie. (+1 level at levels 4 and 7.)
When given plant food, a tofu Gargantuar will appear for the player.

The Good:
• Probably the most unique plant in the game.
• Generates a zombie to fight for you
• Definitely a cool factor.
• Reusable.
• Can generate a zombie army - quite literally - especially on some Last Stand levels.

The Bad:
• Activates only once per 18 seconds.
• Only affects one (1) zombie - Zoybean Pod can easily be over-run.
• Even at level 10, only a level 3 zombie will be created.

The Bottom Line:
This is a cool plant. We love playing with this plant. There is just something about fighting zombies with zombies.

That said, the tofu zombies are weak. This plant does not scale well. This plant is fine for playing the Adventure levels but will be useless for Penny's Pursuit and Arena modes - as the horde zombies are a higher level and more plentiful than your tofu zombie army,

Players start with 2,000 Sun.

Level 3 Objective - Remove eight (8) health bars in three (3) minutes.
Reward is 20 Zoybean Pod
Players start with 1,750 Sun.

We do not get a preview of Penny's Pursuit before it is released. So what you see is what players get.

We also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
