The National Rifle Association filed a lawsuit against Governor Wes Moore on Tuesday shortly after he signed legislation restricting concealed carry rules in Maryland. The Gun Safety Act of 2023 will prohibit Maryland citizens from carrying a firearm in certain locations, such as schools, government buildings, and healthcare facilities. A statement released by the NRA said the new bill was unconstitutional and would not stop criminals.
