Beer in Taiwan traces the history of the beer industry in Taiwan from the Japanese era to present day craft brewers.
The state owned brewery, TTL Taiwan Tobacco & Liquor Corporation was the only brewer allowed to brew alcohol, until Taiwan joined the World Trade Organisation.
With unlimited access to TTL we meet the brewers at the nations favourite brewery and learn how they dealt with the rise of the craft beer industry.
We meet a selection of new brewers brewing craft beer and ask has Taiwan created it's own style of beer, how are they gaining customers to the new style of flavour,
and gauge customers reaction.
