Short Biography of John Wendell Branch Jr.

Mr. John Branch Jr. is currently a Precinct Chair of the Harris County Republican Party (since 2018) where he serves Precinct #431. Since joining the Republican Party in 2018, Mr. Branch has served as a member of the Vacancy Committee (screen members to serve as precinct chairs) and the Engagement Committee where is currently serves as Chairman (coordinates all engagement and outreach activities for the Party to engage voters & citizens), as well as served on 2 different political campaigns (Joe Walz for U.S. Congress in 2020, and Rashard Baylor for State Representative in 2022). Mr. Branch is an alumnus of both Bethune-Cookman University (B.S. Chemistry) and Florida A&M University (M.S. Environmental Science) as well as a member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc. In his professional career, Mr. Branch has spent the last 11 years of his life in the education field where he has served as a Teacher and a Teacher Development Specialist.

A native of Olympia Fields, Illinois, Mr. Branch now resides in Houston, TX where he has lived since 2013.
