I purchased this kit for a camping trip in Monument Valley and the stakes worked better than expected! I knew the soil at the campground would be very sandy, but it was definitely worse than expected when we arrived.
However, these tent stakes were long enough to get further down into the harder soil, and our tent did not move at all during the night even during a monsoon with 50+ mph wind gusts and a deluge of rain.
