Should A Christian Be Patriotic (Christian Nationalism)

Have you ever pondered whether or not a true God fearing, Messiah following, cross bearing Christian should be patriotic? Have you ever pondered whether or not being patriot falls in line with picking up our crosses and following Yeshua Jesus in the Greek?

Should we as modern-day Christians be patriotic or should we as Christians shun patriotism and withdraw from standing for anything of this world? Are we truly not of this world as so many modern-day professing Christians claim?... and are we exempt from paying respect to those who have died for the freedoms that we now enjoy here in the United States in particular?

Is it God’s will that we snub our noses at the sacrifice that many of our Christian brothers and sisters have made by laying their lives down so that we and our children would be able to enjoy the God given rights that we enjoy this very day?
