Gov. DeSantis sends over 1,000 Florida troops to Texas as assistance for border crisis

Governor Ron DeSantis announced on Tuesday that Florida will send will deploy assets to Texas to help their law enforcement defend the southern border. A statement from DeSantis says over 1,000 Florida National Guard soldiers, highway patrol troopers, and law enforcement officers will be sent to Texas. DeSantis will also be sending drones, airboats, and fixed-wing aircrafts.
