Schools prioritize safety with innovative designs

The Gun Violence Archive says that the New Mexico shooting was the 225th in the U.S. this year and several of those shootings happened at schools. With an increase in this violence, schools across the country are working hard to create safer buildings. Architecture is combining physical safety features with welcoming designs to cater to students' needs.
