The Apollo 1 mission was to be called AS-204. It never flew. It was supposed to be the first crewed mission. After the Astronauts were killed a lengthy investigation was conducted. NASA got in a little trouble then too. The crew that actually went on the mission was always shadowed by a kind of survivor's guilt. This Russian official is ten years younger than I am and I’m pretty certain he’s painfully aware of the reason he ticked off everyone when he wanted proof we had gone. There were many stories about Russian attempts that failed, but no verification that I’m aware of. He says that none of the people he asked could find any proof. If you watch the video only one makes a statement other than a polite shove it. That person said there isn’t any proof, stating there’s none to find. There are comments about how we do not have the technology we need to get to the moon. Actually, we quit going to the moon so we could build the world's first reusable spacecraft. The Space shuttle was awesome. It is by far the most complex machine ever built. Elon Musk has taken that ability to new levels where even boosters are reusable. Starship will be completely reusable.

Why did I pick this subject? These days we are finding out we cannot trust our officials in many areas. When I see this kind of comment, I see it as an attempt to say, “You always sucked, it was never right.” I offer up my single finger NY wave! I get tired of that mantra it too is a lie and like so many lies it’s pretty nouveau corrupt! I tend to respond to these types of claims.
