I can't comment on what Trevor Jacob did, but I can explain what we are trained for and what most pilots would do if they didn't have a parachute (which is usually the case). I provide you with the information on what would usually happen so you can make your own mind up on the legitimacy of Trevor's explanation of events and why he jumped.
