Impacts of financial stress on mental health

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and today we're looking deeper into how we can better take care of our well-being. With rising interest rates, rent, and debt, it all can take a substantial toll. Financial stress is one of the most significant factors when it comes to our mental well-being. A study by National Debt Relief found almost 70% of respondents said being in debt has made them withdraw from the things they love. We spoke to a clinical psychologist who told us more in detail about how financial stress can cause us to act.
