New Lord of the Rings MMO Coming From Amazon Games | What We Know

Amazon Games is teaming up with Embracer Group's Middle-earth Enterprises to develop a brand-new Lord of the Rings (MMO). The game is in the early stages of development and will feature stories from The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Amazon confirmed that it's a completely fresh project and will NOT use any assets from their previously cancelled Lord of the Rings MMO. The aim is to create the best MMO based on the Lord of the Rings universe, with only technical constraints seen as potential limitations. The game will be available on both PC and consoles and as of yet it has no official title or release date.
