Getting away from your farm in a drought is a good thing. Never underestimate the power of removing yourself from a drought for a short period. You always come back to the farm with renewed strength and a new perspective. It allows to think things through better when you are removed from your current seemingly hopeless drought situation. Even if it is just a long weekend, do it for your health.
If you want to keep your farm profitable every year, check out my 3 grazing books that I wrote on our website: http://greenpasturesfarm.net/books/
