At least 3 people killed and 2 officers wounded in New Mexico shooting

Authorities in the Four Corners region of New Mexico reported a tragic shooting incident on Monday, resulting in the deaths of four individuals, including the suspect, and injuries to two police officers.

According to the Farmington police, three civilians were fatally shot, and the suspect was confronted and killed at the scene. The suspect, an 18-year-old individual, was armed with multiple weapons, as confirmed by Deputy Police Chief Baric Crum.

When law enforcement officers responded to 911 calls reporting gunfire at approximately 10:57 a.m., they encountered a chaotic situation as the shooter continued to target people, NBC News reported.
