The longest recorded shot with a .177 pellet rifle was made by Randy Parson in 2016, according to the Guinness World Records. He used a Daystate air rifle, specifically the .177 caliber Daystate Wolverine B-Type, and fired a pellet at a distance of 600 yards (548 meters) to hit a 1.75-inch (4.4 cm) target.

Parson made the shot at a competition held in Arizona, USA, and used a special setup that included a high-end scope, custom-built mount, and highly-tuned air rifle to achieve the feat.

It's worth noting that making such a shot requires an exceptional level of skill, as well as specialized equipment and favorable weather conditions. The vast majority of air rifles are not capable of achieving such distances, and attempting such shots without proper training and equipment could be dangerous.
