Intruding Male Lions Chase Resident Pride #shorts | #ShortsAfrica

Some of the chasing that went on this morning (15/05/23) when the Sala's Male #lion coalition met the Marsh Pride and their dominant male Half-tail along the Bila-shaka lugga. No physical contact was made between any of the individuals involved but the young male at the end is perhaps lucky the elephants put off the intruders for a moment, letting him escape.
We left the Sala's Coalition sitting in the bushes where most of the pride had been sleeping when they arrived, hyenas had taken all the buffalo remains during the chase. Half-tail was left resting between Musiara Gate and the Musiara Marsh after the Sala's decided they had chased him far enough. The Marsh pride were still split up, it may take some time for them to regroup with the intruders still being present.
