📷 Icom IC-9700 Picture Mode, New Feature Firmware, DSTAR 📲

This is a new feature that was added to my IC9700 when I decided to update the firmware. It has been out for a few months now from what I have seen. Just another reason this radio is so cool. I have been using it almost every day for SSB, Dstar and FM simplex. This can also be exchanged between other Dstar radios that utilize the app for data incase you do not own a 9700, like the ID5100 and ID51. By connecting your tablet or phone to your capable Icom Dstar radio, you can have pictures sending in the background while you are talking. Or have an exclusive DSTAR picture net every week. :)
