Brazilian Foreign Minister: President Lula says Ukraine and Russia need to begin peace talks

In an interview with CNN on Monday, Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira said President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva believes it is time for Ukraine and Russia to “stop speaking about war” and begin negotiating peace. Vieira said President Lula is ready to join countries that have contact with both Ukraine and Russia to promote peace discussions.
