This afternoon, CHP H-30 responded to a report of a hiker suffering a medical emergency near the Blue Ridge Trail on the Napa/Solano County border.
H-30 responded, located, and hoisted the hiker from the remote trail. Once hoisted, the patient was flown to the Canyon Creek Resort and transferred to a ground ambulance for transport.
This rescue is the first of four hikers the H-30 crew has rescued so far today, all of them appear to be heat related.
