How to Prevent Sediment from Clogging Secondary Containment Hydrocarbon Filter Valves

The most common cause of replacing your secondary containment hydrocarbon filter valves is clogging with sediment or debris. Protect your Drainiac® Petroleum Filter Valve (or any other brand) from prematurely clogging with sediment and debris with this complete pre-filter system.

1) The patent-pending Drainiac® Pre-filter System prevents suspended solids from clogging the hydrocarbon filter valve by filtering petroleum products from stormwater to non-detectable levels (less than 5 PPM). Independent lab tested and verified.

2) The Drainiac® Petroleum Filter Valve filters and encapsulates oil sheens from secondary containment and automatically shuts off in case of a spill.

*We recommend a pre-filter for Drainiac® installations.
