TODD BENSMAN: What's happening now is we are in a bit of a pause. there are tens of thousands of migrants who are trying to figure out where the loopholes are in the new title eight expedited removal. There are huge loopholes there. It doesn't matter if I tell you what they are they're not gonna learn about it through you. The NGOs are down in the camps. I ran into NGO representatives in Raya who are spreading out through the Haitian camps, uh, handing out information and talking to huge groups surrounded by huge groups explaining our new system to them.
The main loopholes, and they will find this sooner or later, are for family groups that they can come in and then my orcas administration will not detain them for the supposed expedited removal. They can claim asylum and then appeal whatever they decline and then they'll be released.
