The struggle for Bakhmut rages on as Ukraine's counter offensive enters its 5th day. Ukraine now only controls less than 1.25 SQ KM in the city itself.

In the flanks of Bakhmut however Ukraine has made some gains although no settlements have yet changed hands. The question is at what cost ?

In other news, according to reports, radiation levels are increasing in the city of Ternopil, deep inside western Ukraine, a day after Russia used Shahed-136/Geran-2 kamikaze drones to destroy several vital Ukrainian targets in Ternopil and Khmelinskiy

Russia is claiming to have destroyed $500 million dollars worth of ammunition, including the depleted Uranium shells that were intended for the Challenger 2 tanks provided by the UK.
