Puertorrican Roast Pork Shoulder and Puertorrican Rice with Pigeon Peas

Happy Mother’s Day to all moms out there . I hope you all get some needed rest from all that you do. It’s been awhile since I’ve made a video. Don’t worry this one is a short one .

Today in our household we are celebrating Mother’s Day as well as my husband’s birthday. I wanted to make something special that we both like .

I also tried her recipe on Puertorrican Rice with Pigeon Peas . This is the best recipe by far that I have tried . You’ll see that my rice looks different and that’s because I didn’t use the popular sazon ( it has dyes in it ) . However ; I purchased a better alternative and it still turned out amazing. You won’t know the difference .
