HOW TO STRETCH TIME AND FULFILL YOUR MISSION

The Scriptures tell us in Ephesians 5:16 that we are to redeem the time for the days are evil. What exactly does it mean to redeem the time? The amplified Bible tells us to ‘buy up each opportunity.’ And the mirror Bible tells us that “wisdom converts time into opportunity and frees your day from slog.” The word slog refers to hard work over a period of time.
We know that every one of us has 24 hours a day to accomplish what we believe needs to happen in our life. In some of that 24 hours, we take care of ourselves with food, sleep, and conversation with those we love. The time we have to be productive in our talents and gifts must be effective.
How do we redeem the time? Is it possible to stretch time?
Some of those who study time and know its property tell us that time has an elastic effect and can be stretched. We learned in the early days of space travel that the person who goes into space comes back chronologically younger than those who stayed on Earth. They tell us, in theory, that if you went far enough and came back, those you left behind have already died.
Time, as we know, has been created by our heavenly father, who controls all the times, and seasons that we will ever experience. So the days and the years that he has given us, are possibly the most valuable gift we ever received from him.
He gave us life and time to live that life to its fullest. He gave us gifts, and he gave us time to develop those gifts so that they would be perfected.
He made us spiritual seeds and then gave us time to plant ourselves into this Earth, to bring a harvest of spiritual value.
So let wisdom teach you how to buy up the opportunities to stretch your time and fulfill your mission on Earth.
