We have cleaned and enhanced this vintage 1961educational IBM entitled ”What is Electronic Data Processing.” This partially restored version is 15 minutes long,, showing early computer concepts, core memory, input-output devices and provides an overview of very early 1960’s view of EDP. The Narrator is most likely “Peter Graves” of the original “Mission Impossible” TV series, but there are no credits surviving in this vintage segment. Comments are welcome. Film Courtesy of IBM Archives. Minor restoration and uploading, for the Computer History Archives Project.
