A balanced approach of the pros and cons to post-1977 “ISKCON” (as if there is anything other than cons) may be well-received in scholastic circles, but it does not help us put the pieces of the “ISKCON” puzzle together in a logical way. It is particularly unhelpful when also shot through with compromise. Simply to be popular with scholars, like-minded authors, and other enablers (even if considered in the context of a quasi-Eastern ethic), why allow a cherished principle of balance to trump the much higher principles of logic and sästric truth?
