James Gunn Confirmed To Return For ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy 3

Will he or won’t he? That seems to be the question many Marvel fans have been waiting from James Gunn regarding ‘Guardians of the Galaxy 3’. So as the start of the press tour begins, Gunn decided once and for all to give his answer.

Yes! He is returning for the third installment of the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ trilogy and not only will he helm the project, he will also be writing the script!

Just as the current Avengers franchise has catapulted the earthly Marvel cinematic universe, Gunn has stated this last installment of the trilogy he started will ensure the cosmic Marvel cinematic universe will endure just as long:

“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3] will conclude the story of this iteration of the Guardians of the Galaxy, and help catapult both old and new Marvel characters into the next ten years and beyond. I will be working side-by-side with Kevin Feige and the gang to help design where these stories go, and make sure the future of the Marvel Cosmic Universe is as special and authentic and magical as what we have created so far.”
