Share. Subscribe. The MOON and SUN are 10-90 degrees off angle. Very easy to check. Just look up and analyze and triangulate. The REAL Sun is 1,651.29 miles away. This is found by using: basic Trigonometry's " Angle of Elevation ". When circling the equator. The Moon is 1,550-1,600 miles away on its' circuit. The Moon is a translucent (semi-transparent) disk in fact and can be seen thru. It can in 'fact' be easily determined that the Moon is self-luminous. And, has its' own phases NOT created by the Sun.
