Jury Finds McDonald’s Liable for Burns to Toddler from McNugget, Mother’s Own Negligence Ignored

A mother in Florida went through a McDonald’s drive thru, got her daughter a Happy Meal and didn’t check to see if anything in it was too hot for her before tossing it into the backseat. As a result of this, her daughter dropped one of her chicken McNuggets due to how hot it was and she received second degree burns on her leg as a result. Which a jury somehow found McDonald’s to be liable for it even though it was the mother’s own negligence that lead to the situation of her daughter getting burned in the first place.

In this video we take a look at this lunacy that a mother can screw up, have it cause her kid to get burned by food that is supposed to be hot, then manage to put the blame on McDonald’s for what should be a large payout for it.
