Sudan's two warring factions have signed a deal to protect civilians and aid deliveries from violence, but could not agree on a ceasefire.
This is a first step to providing relief for Sudanese civilians trapped in the conflict, but there is still a long way to go.
The agreement that was reached in Saudi Arabia includes undertakings to let civilians flee the conflict zone and protect relief workers.
