During the ejection, Boyer landed in the grass (front lawn area of Pueblo Viejo). Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department, Trooper Nick Hatton with the Texas Highway Patrol, and other Polk County Deputies, Constables, and Officers with Livingston Police Department. An Air Life medical helicopter landed in the middle of 190 West. Deputy Boyer was flown to Kingwood Hospital. Sheriff Byron Lyons led his men in prayer for Deputy Boyer.
