SYNOPSIS…

PART 1
Ends up, “Chuchotement” is a song, which actually began as a poem which Jessica wrote in the park next door to her old high school while she was cutting class … oops! Come along this week on “Me and my Song” as Jessica Leia takes the stage and discusses the story behind this month’s song: “Chuchotement”. Enjoy as Jessica tells of how she was inspired to write this song when, in her high school French class, she heard her French teacher use the word: “Chuchotement”. Jessica gives a shout out to her old French teacher, Mr. Morphy, in this monologue - clearly a man deserving of some recognition. And then she goes on to tell of where she was coming from in the writing of this month’s song, “Chuchotement”, which means “whispering”.

Written in a harmonic minor key, “Chuchotement” sounds like an old, haunted, folk song. With acoustic guitar, airy strings, and elegant bass and drums, “Chuchotement” plays out like a lullaby as Jessica Leia sings in rich tones about the subtle and beautiful whispering that occurs in the world when one listens with their heart.
