Easy Recipe Flatbread best Homemade Sandwich

Ingredients:

500g of flour
1 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 teaspoon active dry yeast
250ml plain yoghurt
150ml of warm water
2 tablespoons of olive oil
Instructions:

In a large bowl, sift the flour and add the salt, sugar and active dry yeast.
Add plain yogurt and warm water.
Mix everything until a homogeneous dough is formed.
Add the olive oil and knead vigorously for 10-15 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
Shape the dough into a ball and let it rest in a bowl covered with a damp tea towel for about 1 hour or until doubled in volume.
Transfer the dough to a floured surface and divide it into 8 equal portions.
Form balls with each part of the dough and roll them out with a rolling pin until you obtain flat and thin discs.
Heat a non-stick frying pan and cook the Arabic bread discs over medium-high heat for about 2-3 minutes per side, until they are golden brown and slightly puffy.
Serve hot accompanied with the filling of your choice.
