A Brief History of Taiwan Beer

While there is a growing wine and craft brewery industry here in Taiwan, Taiwan Beer (台灣啤酒) remains the most prominent and widely available alcohol. Brewed by the Taiwan Tobacco and Liquor Corporation or TTL, this lager beer brings in around a billion dollars in annual sales.

Taiwan Beer was brewed and bottled at the Taiwan Brewery just a few minutes away from where I used to live. In this video I want to talk about the history of this iconic drink. This is not an advertisement for alcohol and drink responsibly, dudes and dudettes.
