A segment of the meeting discusses the ability to “open” ballots, Per State Law, 3 days prior to the Election Day and what policies to implement. (Chain of custody issue)

Mike Duckworth, EVSC School Board Member, and Election Board Member discussed eliminating the 7 current “School” polling places due to current societal “safety” issues. (Close the Schools on Election Day)

There was discussion regarding “ActBlue” political PAC and the inability to view individual donors. The office staff stated the Indiana Secretary of States Office did not require the identification of donors on a local level. The large donors were identified at the State Level.

There was discussion on changing the per diem rate on Election Day due to lack of volunteers.
