Saudi Arabia confirms warring parties in Sudan have signed declaration of commitment

Sudan’s Armed Forces and paramilitary group Rapid Support Forces signed a declaration of commitment in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday in an effort to protect civilians and allow humanitarian assistance to resume in Sudan. Officials from the U.S. and Saudi Arabia who have been instrumental in orchestrating the declaration report the next step in negotiations is cementing a 10-day ceasefire.
