Choosing a pressure canner is a personal choice. and there are many.
The 3 that I recommend and why are as follows:
1. If you can afford it... An All American. I love the 915 as a starter. https://amzn.to/40nyuyB its a single stack little beauty and is a work horse. It doesn't need any gaskets replaced and built to be passed down to your kids... It also doesn't need it's gauge calibrated annually. As it runs off a weighted system.

#2... If you can't afford #1 but don't want to wait.. then the Presto 23 qt (I mispoke and said 28 on the video... My error)... https://amzn.to/3owpeLt This beauty is lighter weight and cheaper in price. It needs to be calibrated annually at the extension office (they do it in my community for free) and it needs it's gasket replaced when it's worn. It works equally well..

#3... The Presto Electric Pressure canner... https://amzn.to/41IoQHW It holds a smaller amount but doesn't need a stove top. It's all electric and very quiet. However, I consider it a convenience... I love it for the convenience.. but I still favor the all american. Bias... ? Maybe.

For those that can not can on their stove top I recommend a high wattage electric burner... 1500 watts.. and this is the one I use for my double decker all american canner... https://amzn.to/41rRNbl

This is just a brief short review of what canner I would recommend. There is so much more we can go into.

Some links may be affilitate links and I may earn a small commssion at no expense to you. It is greatly appreciated however.
