UPDATE: One mistake in this video needs to be pointed out: Persians are descendants of Japheth, not Shem.

Just a short cartoon going over the history of the Bible, explaining the difference between Israel and the Jews.

Were the Persian Semites? The reason we can somewhat call Persians "Semites" is because the Persian Empire was built using a unique Kingdom called ELAM. Elam was founded by Semites but adapted more to the Aryan Medes who were north of them and became their own isolated state. Cyrus the Great who founded the Medo-Persian Empire was the King of Elam, with a bloodline that gave him claim to the Kingdom of Elam, Media, and even Lydia. Cyrus would conquer all three of the empires that he had claim to, and then go to conquer Babylon. The Persians are one of the only great conquerors who adopted the language of the people they conquered "Aramaic" which is Semitic. Iranians/Persians are generally Aryan, but, their empire is extremely unique and represents a mixture of Aryans and Semites.
