Georgia: According to the Bryan County Sheriffs Office, an officer with the Georgia Department of Public Safety Motor Carrier Compliance Office was involved in the shooting.

County officials said as the officer was at the drivers window, the driver put their foot on the gas and the officer ended up being dragged. County leaders said the officer fired their gun, the suspect did not survive. Officer was hospitalized with non life threatening injuries. 🙏
