During our trip to Northern Georgia, we spent three days camping and following forest service roads. Though, not a specific journey along the Georgia Traverse, we did cross or follow it somewhat here and there. This was a bonus destination. We could hear the water from the trail. We are so glad we stopped.

Join us as we take a short hike along the Georgia Traverse (Overlanding route) to discover the breathtaking beauty of Helton Creek Falls - one of the top 5 waterfalls in Georgia. As we venture through the lush forest, we hear the sound of rushing water getting louder and soon we arrive at the stunning lower section of the falls. The water cascades down the rocks, creating a mesmerizing scene that takes our breath away.

After taking in the beauty of the lower falls, we continue on the trail to reach the upper section of Helton Creek Falls. As we make our way up the trail, we encounter some stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The upper section of the falls is equally as impressive, with water plunging down from a height of over 50 feet.

If you're a nature lover or an adventure enthusiast, this video is a must-watch. Join us as we explore one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Georgia and experience the awe-inspiring power of nature.

If you are panning a trip along the Georgia Traverse, this is a must-see item. Do not skip by it. The sign is small, so it is easy to miss. Stopping and seeing it will result in an awesome experience!
