4 California dogs doing great out in public. Really proud of them all

Training 4 dogs is really no different than training 1.

Once you have a solid baseline of obedience on each dog individually, you then start working them together and doing things with them as a group.

However, sometimes this can be a hinderance if one dog in particular is struggling more than the others.

1:1 time with each dog is still important, because it gives you an opportunity to see where the cracks are, if any.

In this case, Pumpkin the Dane is a bit spooked by loud noises etc, so she went on her own training excursion. She acts a lot more confident with the pack than without, so this is a small wrinkle in her training that needs to be ironed out.

Working her 1:1 allows us to see her struggles and help her overcome them as well.
