Persistent Illusion: Time Travellers

We are accustomed to thinking of time as a fourth dimension, though Einstein says space and time are really, when you get down to it, the same thing. As he once said, “The distinction between the past, present, and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.”

This makes us wonder – will it one day be possible to travel in time the same way we do in space? If so, one can only assume that, if time travel exists at some future date, there must be some people from our future walking around today, in our present. There have certainly been plenty of claims to that effect.
