As we review Michael Knowles and Fr. Dan Reehill, we discuss some of the differences between Protestant and Catholic belief systems and where catholics fall short of the Biblical account.

We then dive into the discussion between these two men and offer some Christian perspective on the topics they cover.

All right, welcome back to the Watchwell podcast. My name is Parker. This is my co-host, Nick. Nick, how was your week?

Nik (00:10.074)
Great week. Great week. We just released an episode. So it's good to get back to podcasting and recording episodes watching movies and reviewing them through the lens of truth, but obviously not obviously for everyone else But obviously for you today is a bit different type of an episode not necessarily a movie not at all movie But yeah, so I'm excited. I'm excited to get going

The Watch Well Podcast (00:33.690)
Yeah, I'm excited to get back to podcasting as well. I really enjoy the conversations and if you guys haven't seen our latest episode, we released it last Friday around two o'clock and we went over The Fablemen's, the movie, Newest Movie, is it Newest Movie by Steven Spielberg? I think it's this newest one. And there was a lot of good content, a lot of good discussion in that. And we had our special guest, Greg Cross from the Digital Church podcast on

The Watch Well Podcast (01:03.790)
us. So if you haven't quite yet his six pages and notes, yeah, he was definitely more prepared than we were. But no, it was great having Greg on and if you haven't seen that episode quite yet, go check that out. But today, we are actually going to do a review of a conversation that Michael Knowles had with, what's this guy's name?

Nik (01:35.034)
I don't remember his name either.

The Watch Well Podcast (01:36.432)
Father Dan Rehill. I think that's how you pronounce his name. Father Dan Rehill. Priest and Exorcist.

Nik (01:39.374)
Okay. An Exorcist. Priest and Exorcist.

The Watch Well Podcast (01:47.810)
Nick, do you have any initial thoughts? Because I've got a couple of questions that I want to bring up that we can talk about. But before I do that, I wanted to open it up to you and see if you had any initial starting thoughts. . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Nik (02:04.034)
Well, I love the interview. It was a really good interview and there's a lot that they talk about that I disagree with and we'll get into that kind of thing in a minute. But just initially, I thought it was a really good interview and I appreciate that the Daily Wire didn't put it behind their paywall. I appreciate that it was just free on YouTube because it seems like, you know,

The Watch Well Podcast (02:28.912)
Yeah.

Nik (02:34.134)
the length of the video, it seems like it'd be the type of content you'd want behind your paywall, because it would, I mean, demons and all of that stuff, the attraction of people to that. So I just appreciate that they put it out there and that it wasn't behind the paywall. We didn't have to subscribe to see this particular video. So I think that's really my initial thoughts and then we can get into the other stuff here in a minute. But yeah, what about you? I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know. I don't know.

The Watch Well Podcast (02:38.492)
Mm-hmm.

The Watch Well Podcast (02:58.330)
No, I really enjoyed it. I I watched it and you know about 20 30 minutes in you know, I actually grabbed Kayla my wife and I was like all right, so you got to help me out here because There's a lot of things that I'm hearing that I disagree with and she's got you know a History not necessarily herself, but her family is Catholic Like her grandparents and her mom was raised Catholic and

So I was kind of digging into a little bit of the Catholic religion and trying to understand the intricacies because we kind of know as Christians, we kind of know the big disagreements or the traditions that are different between going to a non-denominational or your stereotypical Christian church as opposed to a Catholic mass, those differences. But I was really trying to understand and ask her, pick her brain on what she was thinking

The Watch Well Podcast (03:58.010)
members or, you know, of her of her grandparents and the intricacies of Catholicism. And that those those started off with really good conversations. So I think it's I really enjoyed it as well because it was a good conversation starter. There's a lot of topics in here and that's why I texted you and I was like, man, we got to do this on the podcast because I think it's going to open up a good discussion. So my first my first question to you is.

Nik (04:05.274)
Mm-hmm.

Nik (04:24.976)
Yeah, I agree.

The Watch Well Podcast (04:28.770)
If someone just randomly walked up to you or if you were at church or Someone knew that you know you were a pastor and you You knew quite a bit. What would you say the differences?
